Jennifer Johnston, L.Ac.
Jennifer has been practicing acupuncture since 2006. Before attending acupuncture school, she had completed her bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies at the University of Texas, and had spent time studying Chinese language abroad, where she first experienced Chinese medicine. Jennifer grew up in a health-conscious family, and when she started her own, her focus returned to health, and soon the idea of studying acupuncture took hold. She received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, and is a diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Dipl Om, NCCAOM).
Jennifer is grateful for the opportunity to practice acupuncture, as it uniquely combines her interests and allows for meaningful engagement with those seeking treatment. Knowing the limitations of private practice, Jennifer is excited to join People’s Acupuncture Tx in order to further the cause and serve to make acupuncture available to everyone.
